06/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - Before the Christmas break, the European Commission and Norway approved further bilateral trade concessions in the agricultural sector with a view to concluding an agreement to extend the list of duty-free tariff quotas and to open new tariff quotas, mainly for cheese, meat, fruit and vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants. After approval by both parties, the agreement should be implemented from 1 July 2003, the Commission states.
