30/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has once again insisted that the Council must abide by rules on access to documents, with its adoption on 17 December of the report by Astrid Thors (Finland, Liberal) on the complaint lodged by Statewatch, headed by Tony Bunyan, with European Ombudsman Jacob Söderman. Statewatch had applied to the Council for access to all documents distributed at the Justice/Home Affairs Council in January 1999, but was given only some of the paper....
