The Italian group CANDY (expected turnover of EUR 935 million for 2002) has set up a joint venture with the Russian airspace specialist SP KOROLEV ENERGIA. The Italian company will have a 51% stake in the new venture, which has been christened ENERGIA DOMESTIC APPLIANCES and which will be up and running in 2003. It will begin by manufacturing floor-cleaning machines before beginning production of "Candy" and "Hoover".
