France and Denmark go to Court of Justice to have protection of Greek feta annulled

Brussels, 10/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The French Minister of Agriculture, Herve Gaymard, announced that France was to follow Denmark in filing an appeal before the Court of Justice calling for the annulment of the Community decision reserving the name "feta" to cheese made in Greece alone. This is what the French Minister says in a letter a copy of which fell into the hands of AFP.
