04/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - Nigel Smith, President of the "No campaign" against UK adoption of the euro, announced on Sunday, according to the AFP, that the movement is considering legal proceedings if the government uses taxpayers' money to finance a campaign in favour of the United Kingdom becoming part of the euro zone. UK Lord Chancellor Alexander Irvine must provide explanations on this subject before the start of December, said Mr Smith, as reported by Agence France Presse.
