29/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - Last week, in Strasbourg, the European Parliament adopted the report by Hans-Peter Martin (PES, Austria) which makes several changes to the procedure for granting the Commission discharge on budgetary execution. The discharge procedure could take place in two stages, during the month of April and the month of September of the year after that when the annual report of the Court of Auditors is adopted.
