11/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - Various sources have confirmed that at the informal Porto Rotondo meeting at Silvio Berlusconi's place (see Europe of 9/10 September, p.5), Spain, France, Italy and Portugal expressed reservations about the main proposals in the Martens-Schäuble document on a European Constitution. EPP group heads of state will publish their views on the document before the EPP congress in Estoril on 17/19 October.
