11/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 17 September the European Commission will launch its PEOPLE Project piloted by Directorate General Research. This project should enable the monitoring of air pollutants, notably benzene, in ten European cities: Brussels, Bucharest, Dublin, Krakow, Lisbon, Ljubljana, Madrid, Paris and Rome.
