06/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Thursday the European Parliament adopted without amendment the report by Belgian Socialist Kathleen Van Brempt on the Commission Communication on creating a European life-long education and training area, lamenting that little progress had been made since Lisbon in promoting life-long learning (see Europe of 5 September, p.17).
