Declaration by pre-electoral mission after visit to Macedonia

Brussels, 29/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - After the visit made from 26 to 28 August in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the joint mission of the parliamentary assemblies of the Council of Europe and the OSCE issued a declaration indicating that the members of the mission were impressed by the efficiency and professionalism shown by the electoral commission, and welcomed the balanced nature of its composition.
