Luxembourg, 29/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - Statistics released on 23 August by Eurostat show confirm the growing use of unleaded petrol in the Union in 2001. The share of unleaded petrol in total petrol deliveries rose to 95% from 91% in 2000. Unleaded petrol already accounted for 100% of deliveries in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal and the United Kingdom before 2000.
