Andreasen is suspended

Brussels, 29/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - In accordance with Article 88 of the Statute, the Commission decided on Wednesday to suspend Marta Andreasen (on post at the DG Budget) from her post. When an official commits a serious fault, the Commission may immediately suspend the offender. Disciplinary procedure is taking its course.
