Ten Member States do not respect aspects of legislation on waste - the Commission acts

Brussels, 24/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to pursue infringement proceedings against ten Member States for non-compliance with EU legislation on waste. Several countries have received formal requests to comply with other obligations in the next two months, others will be taken to Court. Here is a summary of the procedures.
