10/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - Gunnar Wiegand, the spokesman for the Commissioner for external relations, Chris Patten, said on Monday that the European Commission would, once its investigation over, make a statement next week over allegations by which funds from EU financial assistance to the Palestinian Authority are said to have been used to finance terrorist activities. It will be raised in Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee on 19 June.
