27/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The film "No Man's Land" by the Belgian-Bosnian director Danis Tanovic received the EU's third Media Prize for a value of 25,000 euro, from Commissioner Viviane Reding at the close of the Director's Fortnight in Cannes. Ms. Reding welcomed the film that "illustrates with talent and humour the absurdity of violence between people". French, Italian, Belgian British and Slovene co-production, the film benefited from the backing of the Media programme.
