13/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Walloon Minister for Audio-visual, Richard Miller, tabled the idea, which he launched during the Belgian Presidency, of creating a European television channel dedicated to European cinema (Eurocine). Among others, Eurocine should broadcast European films and interviews not forgetting the educational aspects, and could also organise a sort of "virtual festival" to which the public could participate without moving.
