13/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - Michel Barnier, European Commissioner responsible for regional policy, announced, on Monday, the approval by the Commission of three cross-border co-operation programmes. These Interreg programmes concern Greece and Cyprus (Community contribution of EUR 47 million), Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) (CC: EUR 73 million) and Belgium and the Netherlands (CC: EUR 84.2 million). EUROPE will return to these programmes in more detail.
