Brussels, 08/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the British venture capital company, Cinven, to acquire from Nomura International a controlling stake in two British beverage outlet chains: the Unique Pub Company (970 establishments) and the Voyager Pub Groups (3250 establishments). The operation does not raise any competition problems, given that Cinven does not yet own any stake in the sector of beverage outlets in the United Kingdom.
