12/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - Three members of the European Parliament's Socialist group, Max van den Berg, Eryl McNally and Erika Mann, have sent an open letter to the European Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy on the problem of developing countries accessing medicine, stressing that solutions under the WTO rules must not be restricted to less developed countries, poor countries or small economies or be restricted to specific diseases.
