ECB maintains key rates unchanged - For Duisenburg, decision taken by Washington on steel can be explained by weakness of dollar

Frankfurt, 07/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - At its meeting on Thursday, the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) decided to keep its key rates unchanged. The main refinancing operations minimum bid rate remains at 3.5%. The marginal lending facility and deposit facility remain at 4.25 and 2.25 respectively.
