Adoption of four Interreg programmes

Brussels, 06/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission announced the adoption of four Interreg III programmes for cooperation between regions. These programmes are multiannual and must close at the end of 2006.

Spain/Portugal: EUR 1.13 billion including 807 million from the EU. The programme intended for regions situated at the border between these two countries is aimed at supporting the development of the economy of these areas and helping them to strengthen their...
