EU welcomes new negotiations with FARC

Brussels, 15/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Union's High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana, welcomes "President Pastrana's announcement that the talks between his government and the FARC will continue… I urge the FARC to make good on its pledge to implement the San Francisco de la Sombra agreement, in particularly regarding the exclusion of civilians from the effects of the conflict".
