09/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Deutsches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (DIW) in Berlin has considerably reduced its forecasts for growth in Germany in 2002, considering it will only be 0.6% this year, whereas in its summer report it forecast growth of 2.3%. DIW, however, forecasts that Germany should be back on the road to growth in 2003, with 2.1%.
