27/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission adopted on 21 September a five-year strategy for its aid to FYROM, and announed that the sum of 110.5 million euros has been earmarked to finance this strategy which will benefit Macedonia over the period 2002-2004. The priorities of the strategy are democracy and a State based on the rule of law, economic and social development, Justice and Home Affairs, the environment and natural resources.
