Skopje, 26/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana said in Skopje on Friday, at the end of talks with President Trajkovski and the leaders of the political parties, that the Albanian and Macedonian sides had "overcome the difficulties on the preamble" which was delaying the adoption of the amendments to Fyrom's Constitution.
In Brussels, the Commission adopted a 12 million euro programme this week for the return of refugees an displaced persons in Macedonia, implementation of which depends on the ratification of all Constitutional amendments and the adoption of a new law on local government in Fyrom.
