Brussels, 26/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - As we announced (see EUROPE of 3&4 September, p.6), the B Plus Association chaired by Ludo Dierickx, and the European Federalist Union (Belgium), in collaboration with the government of the German-speaking community of Belgium, chaired by Karl-Heinz Lambertz, are organising a colloquium in Eupen on 30 November on "No European Democracy Without European Political Parties". Among the subjects to be dealt with, are: how to get citizens interested in European elections? How far has the debate of the European Parliament on the statute of European parties got? How to make of EP elections truly European elections and not national ones?
