Safety and security on the agenda of the Barcelona Conference

Brussels, 18/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Directorate General of the European Commission responsible for energy and transport is to hold its first annual conference on energy and transport at the World Trade Centre in Barcelona, on 18 and 19 October.

This first conference will cover the themes of safety and security. It will bring together the main decision-makers from the public and private sectors, and essentially aim to diffuse the results of European research and technology programmes,...
