ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

The German group BAYER has announced that it plans to transform its pharmaceuticals division into an autonomous unit that will group all its health-related activities, as a prelude to eventual partnerships. It plans to do the same with agrochemicals with the upcoming integration of AVENTIS CROPSCIENCE. Hitherto, BAYER was organised into four divisions: chemicals, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and plastics.
