14/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - Following the attacks of 11 September in the United States, the signing of the political declaration and the Commission - Economic and Social Committee protocol by Presidents Romano Prodi and Goke Ferichs, scheduled for 12 September in plenary session (see EUROPE of 88 September, p.13), was postponed to a later session. The presidential cabinets are together examining the possibility of signing the declaration before the end if September.
