14/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - Some 70 students demonstrated in Louvain with a view to the informal EU Transport and Environment Council to be held over the weekend in the university town just a few miles from Brussels (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.8). Calling themselves the "Internationaal Verzet" (international resistance), the demonstrators protested against the "neo-Liberal Europe", states the Belga Agency.
