ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

TYCOM, telecommunications subsidiary of the US TYCO group, has taken over the telecoms division of the Franco-British EUROTUNNEL company. The subsidiary in question had a turnover of EUR 64 million in 2000. The amount paid by TYCOM has not been disclosed.
