ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

The Italian tyre manufacturer PIRELLI, currently reconverting into telecommunications, is abut to take a 27% stake in the communications holding company OLIVETTI following the decision by the holding company BELL, which controls OLIVETTI, to transfer its 21.32% stake to OLIMPIA Srl, a PIRELLI investment company. PIRELLI already holds a stake of some 5.7% in OLIVETTI.
