27/08/2001 (Agence Europe) - Notification of the Pirelli/Olivetti/Telecom Italia merger operation appeared in the Official Journal C238 of 24 August. The notification, received by the European Commission on 14 August, concerns the acquisition by Pirelli SpA of full control of Olivetti SpA and indirectly of the company controlled by Olivetti, Telecom Italia SpA.
