Brussels, 22/08/2001 (Agence Europe) - By a written procedure, the European Commission has approved an aid project worth 23 million euro for education, over four years (2001-2004), for over a million children in Bangladesh who are excluded, due to poverty, from the educational system. The project will be focused on improving teacher-training and the development of learning techniques. Girls represent 60% of the children concerned by this assistance programme.
