Forthcoming publication of "Employment in Europe 2001" report

Brussels, 16/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - In the coming days, the European Commission will publish its annual report on employment "Employment in Europe 2001", which shows a generalised and rapid improvement of the labour market in the EU. The report presents an analysis of the main trends and prospects for employment in the EU and in countries candidate for accession, in the context of the new goals set in Lisbon and Stockholm.
