EP Liberal Group proposes "new food and rural policy"

Brussels, 12/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - Under the title a "New Food and Rural Policy", the Liberal Group (ELDR) of the European Parliament proposed on Tuesday radical reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) aimed at meeting the requests of consumers to have a "right to safe and healthy food" that meets high "ethical requirements".
