ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) engineering

Britain's POWELL DUFFRYN (ports and engineering) will be disposing of its engineering assets as part of its plan to focus on port and shipping activities. The Netherlands' GEESINK NORBA is the first asset to be disposed off. It will be sold to the United States' OSHKOSH TRUCK CORPORATION (sales of $1.3 billion in 2000) for EUR 150 million.
