Britain's energy supplier CENTRICA (annual turnover of almost £10 billion for 28,000 employees) has joined forces with several Belgian 'intercommunal' companies, INTERELECTRA, IVEG, PBE, VEM and WVEM, to form a new trading company LUMINUS and become Belgium's second largest supplier. CENTRICA injected EUR 85 million into LUMINUS and has a 50% stake in the EUR 205 million company.
