Belgium's TESSENDERLO CHEMIE had acquired for an undisclosed amount the TECHNICOMPOUND company (France's ERAM group; EUR 13 million in 2000; workforce of 44), which specialises in packaged pre-mixes of ready-to-use PVC and thermoplastic elastomers, having a 15,000 tonne annual production capacity for the two products. The company will be integrated into TESSENDERLO CHEMIE's premix subsidiaries, which had a EUR 67 million turnover in 2000.
