The British group COLT TELECOM has taken over France's FITEC (23 million euro turnover in 2000 with 200 employees, of whom 150 consultants and a clientele of 400), specialized in electronic commerce and which has as subsidiaries APOGEE and ASTHEA. The acquisition cost 19.5 million euro, 10.2 million which in cash.
