Gothenburg, 14/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - The first European Union summit with the Bush Administration, on 14 June in Gothenburg, ended with the adoption of a four page joint declaration (which we will publish in full), which reaffirms in particular the "historical partnership" between the Union and the United States and in which the latter welcomes the EU's efforts aiming to develop its crisis management capabilities, in full coordination and transparency with NATO.
