Further relaxation of protective measures in Netherlands - Community measures soon to be lifted except in Great Britain

Brussels, 13/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - The foot and mouth disease is drawing to an end, and the safeguard measures in place in some Member States are also being relaxed. The Standing Veterinary Committee has just approved the relaxation of restrictive measures imposed in the Netherlands to curtail all risk of spreading the disease.
