ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The French reinsurance company SCOR has decided to completely withdraw from the insurer-credit firm EULER (consolidated turnover of 1.15 bn euro in 2000) by selling the 5.07% stake still in its possession to AGF, enabling the latter to increase it stake to 58.6%. The transaction is valued at some 100 million euro.
