05/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Society of European Affairs Professionals (SEAP) celebrated its 5th anniversary in the presence of the European Commission Vice-president Neil Kinnock, according to a press release from this organisation, which aims to apply high standards to the profession of Europe lobbyist (it recalls the code of conducts to which 100 members have subscribed) and to improve communication with the main European institutions. The press release indicates that Mr Kinnock made a presentation on the reform of the Commission services, by specifying that he intends to finalise this reform at the beginning of 2003, even if this is a dynamic process that should allow for further modernisation over time.
