MEP's want the simplified system of granting subsidies to small farmers to cover as many farmers as possible

Brussels, 30/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report from the German Green Party member Friedrich Graefe zu Baringhof on the simplified system of granting certain direct subsidies to small farmers which the European Commission is planning to introduce in 2001, the agriculture committee of the EP wants more farmers to benefit from this system.
