ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) packaging

The French aluminium and packaging group PECHINEY will buy, for an undisclosed sum, SOPLARIL (annual turnover of close to EUR 200 million with seven production centres), subsidiary of TOTALFINAELF, specialised in flexible packaging. This acquisition will allow PECHINEY to double the European turnover of its flexible packaging activities, which will thus total EUR 400 million.
