Brussels, 30/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission authorised the British equity investment firm, subsidiary of Industri Kapital, to buy a 51% controlling stake in Thor Holding AG, subsidiary of the Swedish Telecommunications operator Telia AB. Given the absence of Industri Kapital in any company active in telecommunications, the Commission felt that the operation would not enhance nor create a dominant position.
