Commission clears de-merger of Thales and Siemens' joint venture

Brussels, 23/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has cleared the acquisition by France's Thales of the control of the whole of Airsys ATM, currently owned by Thales and Siemens of Germany. Following the 1997 joint venture agreement, Airsys ATM has been active in the field of air traffic management and turnkey airport systems.
