Microsoft subscribes to agreement between United States and Europe over protection of private data

Brussels, 18/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The American company Microsoft announced on Tuesday its intention to sign the agreement on data protection between the European Union and the United States, which makes it one of the first multinationals to joint. Jean-Philippe Courtois, President of Microsoft Europe added that the policy of respecting private lives by Microsoft is in line with the European Union's principals of data protection.
