Parliament hopes to strengthen water quality standards

Strasbourg, 17/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament adopted at first reading (codecision procedure) the report by German Green member Hiltrud Breyer on establishing the list of priority substances in the field of water policy. The main amendments contained in the report were endorsed by MEPs.
